But before he could even place his hand on the doorknob, the knob turned by itself and the door began to open. For a moment Dave wondered if the angelic visitor was returning. At least this time it had been thoughtful enough to use the door! But it wasn’t an angel, at least not of the celestial kind: It was Sandy. As he stepped backward from the opening door, his wife stepped over the threshold and fell right into his arms.

She then looked up at him with an awestruck face as she somberly informed him, “Dave, you are never going to believe this, but I saw an angel, and he told me you needed me and that I should come back.” This particular angel had apparently been very busy that night! This angelic messenger had managed to bring to people on the verge of complete perdition back from the brink with his message of unity and reconciliation. At any rate, this is a tale well worth believing!
